What's the FIRST word that comes to mind ...

... when you think about Republicans?

For me, it's hypocrisy. Their "good Christian family values" invariably disappear when one of their own is caught red-handed (or red-dicked) having their shitty diapers changed at a brothel, screwing their soon-to-be third wife while still married to their second wife, deciding that deficits don't matter if it's a Republican running up the tab, et cetera.

What's your word that describes Republicans?

If I meet a stranger saying very mean and cruel things about people, especially if the target seems vulnerable in some way, I later discover that person is Republican about 99% of the time (when I've bothered to find out).

Democrats say mean things too, but it's usually directed at abusive authority.

in bright yellow, cowardly colored letters, all together in rows and columns.

For the leadership: mobsters, traitors, skinflints, liars, thieves, cheaters, hypocrites, manipulators, criminals, dogmatists, troglodytes, Tartuffes, dolts, and on into modifiers of such and unfair comparisons to the animal kingdom.

For the rank and file: stupid, spiteful, uninformed, disinformed, misinformed, suckers, chumps. deluded, star-struck, disengaged, cultists, bigots, belligerents, loudmouths, and of course, the perennial favorite, hypocrites.

Then of course, the synonyms start to fly by in the next block of cowardly colored yellow text.

And if I weren't dog tired right now, I could probably keep going all night.

for as many people as possible.

They want to eliminate food stamps, medicaid, medicare, and social security causing the poor to suffer and die.

They want to gut anti-pollution laws (what they call "job-killing regulations&quot that protect our water, land and air. Again, thousands will die unnecessarily.

They want to turn our national parks over to mining and logging companies. So much for America the beautiful.

They want to cut taxes for their billionaire friends while raising taxes on the poor and middle class.

They are willing to let our infrastructure rot away. The US is becoming a third world nation, more rapidly than most Americans realize.

They are wanting the American government to fail so they can establish a plutocratic government.

Evil through and through.

Later at the end you wrote " What's your word that describes Republicans? " I think I would choose 'hypocritical' if given more time to think about it.

All politicians dabble in it, of course. But our dear old GOP has, since 1980 or so, taken it to a whole new level.

It all started with Reagan's massive deficits, even as he preached "fiscal conservatism" while implying that "welfare queens' were to blame. But it really took shape during all the Iran-Contra drug-running - which, of course, went on with full Whote House support while they paraded Nancy around with her "Just Say No" shtick.

That takes Chutzpah, I'll give them that.

Although, I think hypocrisy might eclipse the stupid factor in most cases. It just seems like in order to fathom the depths of hypocrisy to which they sink on a daily basis, we have to consider how absolutely moronic they are.

BTW, nice thread.

The sheeple cry no jobs and poverty while voting for people who aren't interested in anything but money for themselves. They bellyache about abortion as if a Republican has never had an abortion. They thump their Bibles while ignoring or twisting everything that's in it. They will occasionally accept a gay person . . . if it happens to be their loved one. Guns are great, even after they shoot their big toe off while cleaning theirs. I could go on and on, but you all know.

Most republican politicians give off the vibe that they got into politics to make money.

Except to themselves and their financial benefactors, and the bullies that get away with acts of violence, discrimination and intimidation.

But to the rest of the country--they will undertake moves that sooner or later either do not improve the lives of their constituents or make them downright worse. Only because they watch Fox Noise and listen to National Hate Radio do their supporters get their brains washed on a daily basis, thinking they are being patriotic and doing the work of their imaginary friend in the sky. They somehow think they are making America great again, even though it never quite seems to happen.

Godot will show up any minute now because Fox and Frauds said so, and they'll beat the shit out of you if you say you doubt it.

No matter what the issue, right wingers flip their standard. The only useful thing about Donald's EC win is that we can now forever refer to him.

Next Democratic President -

Right Winger - President Democrat plays golf and does not work.

Us: Donald.

Right Winger - President Democrat goes on vacation too much

Us: Donald

Right Winger - President Democrat does not have good family values - his wife is a man (her husband is a woman), other stupid shit, etc.

Us: Donald

Right Winger - Democratic candidate does not have enough experience to be POTUS.

Us: Donald

They can never make these claims again. Donald has wrecked it for them.
