I will produce a short timeline of the Trump-Russia story on this blog tomorrow. For now, the point is that intelligence sources say that Page, Manafort and Epshteyn, possibly also with Trump, are on tape discussing how Page should carry a recording of Donald Trump to Moscow, offering his bona fides in exchange for Russia’s help hacking the election; and that the said tape of Trump was played by Page to Russian intelligence, possibly including Mr. Diveykin, the Russian official in charge of hacking the election; and that multiple foreign intelligence services, among them the UK, Germany and Ukraine, have a tape of this; and that finally, in October, the FBI was able to listen to that tape.

Taylor was on the Bill Clinton White House staff and has worked on 3 Presidential campaigns.

I know not everyone believes what she's claiming, but just as an fyi, she thinks Comey's okay. I was pretty mad about him, too. She thinks that before the election, a Russian hacker inserted something onto the computer (I don't remember if it was Weiner's or his wife's) either remotely or using something that had been installed in an earlier hack, to make it look like he was sexting a young girl. Of course it was a Russian adult hacker. So LM thinks Comey was required to announce it and then worked extremely quickly to clear Hillary before the election.

I'm not saying I'm 100% sure, just providing some more information. If nothing else, I sleep better not being so infuriated about the Comey-email thing!

To the above poster re Comey: I would bet that CIA knew before the election, went to Obama. Obama briefs Comey and tells him to start the domestic arm of the investigation, and don't worry about Hillary every reputable poll has her winning this thing walking away so don't let the cat out of the bag to the traitors just for that...maintain the integrity of the investigation on FBIs end because CIA doesn't have the Power to indict people. When Trump ended up winning, my bet was it threw Comey for a loop just like everyone else and he got orders to go back and double and triple check every T and I to not only make damn sure everything was in order before January, but to ensure that what work had been done couldn't be UNdone by Trumpy and Crew. I don't think Comeys the Bag Guy (yet...Obama trusted him to head FBI and that says something to me about the man's character).
