Trump family held invitation-only Easter Egg hunt at Mar-a-Lago

Trump family held invitation-only Easter Egg hunt at Mar-a-Lago

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/04/trump-family-held-private-easter-egg-hunt-at-mar-a-lago/

Trump attended services at the Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach along with first lady Melania Trump, daughter Tiffany, son Barron and Melania's parents, a White House spokeswoman said.

The family was to celebrate the rest of the Christian holiday with a brunch at Mar-a-Lago and Easter egg hunt with the families of two of Trump's other adult children, Eric and Donald Trump Junior, the spokeswoman told reporters.

Trump wished a "Happy Easter to everyone!" via his favourite medium, Twitter, and had earlier used his weekly address to mark Easter and the Jewish holiday of Passover.

The religious services were the first attended by Trump since his inaugural weekend in January.

And I was comparing in my mind the Tsarevich Alexei and Barron.. He was only 14 when they were all murdered.

But, at the same time, there really, in my mind, is no comparison in temperament, taste, intelligence, and humanity between the two families.

Although I am sure some will differ.

Read Nicholas and Alexander by Robert Masse. I was a Russian History major and while they were not admirable, they were not loathsome like the Trumps. She went wacko because of son's illness (think Nancy Reagan consulting astrologers) and turned to a con man (Rasputin, more like Trump than any of them). They were also old money and neither were smart, intellectually.

On the other hand, Trump is second generation wealth and say what you will, I think he is very smart, an evil kind of smart, but smart nonetheless. He is not curious (about anything but making money) and he is deplorable but do not underestimate his intelligence. Just the nicknames he chose for his opponents show an advanced intellect. Little Marco, Low Energy Jeb etc. He found the achilles heel for each of them in a cruel way and it worked!

Trump wants to be an aristocrat. Like the Tsar. And ride in the Queen's carriage. And be accepted in the society of wealthy NYers etc.

I am aware of all that history. But thank you for bringing it up
And yes I read Nicholas and Alexandra many years ago. A stunning book.

Alexei had hemophilia, as you know, not an easy situation...

The first time I was in (then) Leningrad,' was Jan 1985. I have loved that city ever since and have returned several times, whenever I can.

I usually end up at the Mariinsky Theater...In fact i ALWAYS end up there.

....In Dec 2015 to hear two concerts, Dec 8 and 10th, celebrating Sibelius' 150th birthday...Stunning performance of the Violin Concerto.

Then last year, oddly enough, at the exact time trumpster was taking the oath of office, I had just arrived in St Petersburg and was sitting in the Mariinsky watching Mieczyslaw Weinberg's Operatic adaption of THE IDIOT. lOL!

only been there once, stayed in a little hotel by the Hermitage, along the canal, had a lovely canal with what my husband maintains was/is the best spaghetti Bolognese he has ever eaten. They best part is there were pictures of Hillary all around, the tiny cafe's claim to fame? Anyway, we age there a few times breakfast mainly and got friendly with a waitress who wanted to make sure we saw the picture of her with Hillary. She was beaming. Especially when we said we loved Hillary. No Bill so I'm assuming she was there when she was sec of state.

Personally, I like Moscow better. Since St. Petersburg was basically all built at the same time it is a little one note for me. Moscow is grittier and has more history (duh). Both have excellent subway stations. Works of art. We took tours of both subway systems to make sure we didn't miss anything. Highlight of my trip. I remember reading about them in college and always wanted to go. We took a night train to St. Petersburg from Lithuania which was very strange. When they came to check our passports as we crossed the border they brought everyone in to see us, I'm not sure they'd ever had Americans on that train. This was just a few years ago and we couldn't buy the train tickets from the US. We had to have the hotel in Vilnius get them for us.

I have a photo from that 1985 trip of me and 6 members of the Leningrad Philharmonic ( two of them percussionists) in the then the Europskaya hotel across the street, after a concert during which they played the Shostakovich 5th Symphony, which, as a former timpanist, I have played many times since then. Ok... it gets better.....

There are 6 empty bottles of vodka on the table.. Long story, as you can imagine, sneaking past the KBG floor monitors, me buying the booze at the "dollar bar,' fighting off the 'dollar bar dolly,' etc...
Translating russian to german to english, etc....Then sneaking them out of the 'foreigners' hotel'....
So, One of the percussionists and I stayed in touch for a few months... then nothing... time passes...............

THEN, about 6 months ago, low and behold, we found each other on FACEBOOK !!! Of course we both remembered that night very well... well up to a point.LOL! We are both now retired.

Then in February this year the St Petersburg Philharmonic came to Rochester, NY near where I live, on tour.. They were playing......Shostakovich 5th. !! So I went to the concert and met with the percussionists after the concert in a local pub.. They, of course, knew my old friend from 1985. we drank many vodka toasts to him, to Russian music, to St Petersburg, to anything we could think of.. They were deeply touched by my love of their beautiful city.

My friend took several photos of us. When I got home and looked at them, in one, the TV was on behind us up on the wall, and right in the middle of it were Donald J Trump and Vladimir Putin !!!!!!!!!!!

I sent them all copies and they loved it.....

Life is wonderful, isn't it...

He so clearly sees himself as King, not President of the entire nation.
Only holds private meetings in the Oval Office or his golf courses, no state dinners, no balls.
Just the Oval or Mar-Lego/golf.

That is so beyond weird.

They live in the Barbie Golden Castle where everything is gold plated. They fly around in the Barbie 747 that comes complete with extra soft hand towels.

The set comes with extra golden spoons.

Black eyes. Creepy.

I am thinking of buying stock in the company who produces their mascara, because they sure load it on. They must go through a tube of it each every day.
