Longtime Trump ally Roger Stone on Friday defended WikiLeaks calling for the CIA head to resign for attacking the anti-secrecy site's legitimacy.

In an interview with Newsmax Stone blasted CIA Director Mike Pompeo for calling WikiLeaks a "a non-state hostile intelligence service."

"There is no evidence to that whatsoever. What that tells me is that the bureaucrats ... in the CIA are spinning a BS narrative. And that Mr. Pompeo is so dumb that he is buying it," Stone said.


Pompeo on Thursday ripped WikiLeaks, saying the website is "often abetted by state actors" such as Russia.
