To lay plastic as Agent Orange will probably try to piss on the upholstery.

They should have it checked for bed bugs and C. difficile as well. And electronic bugs.

Not only is it reserved for the royal family for special things like coronations, jubilees, and weddings, it's also partially disassembled for storage, as I understand.

I can't imagine HRH will allow that bloated fraud a ride in it, not even a ride along.

He's just going to have to make do with the back seat of a Rolls Royce. Maybe they can find a gilt one, I think they made one for a movie, or spray paint one with Rustoleum Gold.

and I think they're hoping the same thing in the UK, security for that fat asshole is going to be a real nightmare, worse even than Stupid's security trampling Her Majesty's roses.

I still think they should contact the French and rent a tumbril from one of the museums. That would cement relations between the sane parts of both countries forever.

It wouldn't even need the guillotine at the end of the trip.

that the ride is an honor offered to heads of state, most of whom decline because of the security concerns and the massive inconvenience. Trump doesn't care about those things, though; he'll insist on the ride in the gilded coach because he likes anything that has gold on it (like his toilet). Inconveniencing and causing great expense for others does not concern him.

Really? When I first saw it I thought it was an Onion story. Can we start a petition to stop him from going? Just because he squeaked out a minor electoral win does not mean that anyone elected him to embarrass the entire country in front of the whole world. Remember back in the good old days when the world respected us. When the opinion of the president was something sought by leaders and governments. We were an example to the world. How many remember that time in our history. Oh, that's right... that was three months ago. Oh gawd.
Maybe come October he will no longer be president. We can dream.
I have a suggestion for the unlucky souls of Great Britain that are having this pathetic display forced on them. Any noise from the crowd will be taken as worship of his greatness. Instead go quiet. Dead quiet. As he goes by turn your backs on him. Eliminate any joy he could receive from that stunt. I haven't heard if Her majesty will be forced to ride along. She would understand and not take it as any kind of slight.
