The rest used religious appearances for political reasons or photo-ops.

quietly, when he was president. I don't remember if they ever met in the WH, but I'm pretty certain that Carter practiced weekly, in spite of the fact that he was in the WH. It would have also been important for them to take Amy to SS and church weekly. But I'm assuming a lot here.

and security requirements disrupt the church's normal services, and most have been considerate enough to avoid doing that regularly. They usually did go to church on special occasions and holidays; whether that attendance was just a photo op or resulted from a genuine wish to be there would depend on the person, I guess. In Trump's case, now that he has won the presidency he no longer feels the need to curry favor with the fundies who voted for him, so he's not even going to bother with a staged photo op.

That's not part of the requirements. Separation of church and state still stands.

to destroy that separation and install a theocracy in America.

There’s also the question of Trump’s church attendance as president. On the morning of his inauguration, Trump and his family attended a service at St. John’s Episcopal Church near the White House and then participated in an interfaith prayer service that Saturday at the National Cathedral. He also appeared at the National Prayer Breakfast in early February.

On Sunday, Trump went to Easter services at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Church in Florida, where he and Melania were married in 2015.

But there’s no public knowledge of any other church services that Trump has attended, and if he has, it has been without the knowledge of White House pool reporters.
