Kinetic Resolution??

I turned on msnbc for a few minutes and there was warmongering Col. Jack Jacobs agreeing with the premise that N. Korea needs to be controlled, perhaps by kinetic resolution v. bombing them to kingdom come. So he's pretty much for doing whatever it takes to keep NK in check.

How have we made it this far without much of a problem with N. Korea despite their tyrants? We need a no-drama Obama or someone like him. I sure don't agree with Jack Jacobs.

That is a term I have never heard in this context

I googled and it looks to be a physics term which is what I thought.

I wrote it down because I was so appalled. Drugs? Some way to tamp down the populace without killing them with bombs. Make them behave.

Hacking, using political influence, etc someone like NK is non-kinetic since it isn't a actual physical force. Kinetic is bombing the shit out of them.
