The White House should just come out and say; "This country cannot feed our veterans or elderly because Trump has 3 residences to protect."

When we take back congress in 2018, it's bye bye secret service. Duck those bullets yourself, Li'l Donnie.

They just see it as part of the price of selling their souls to Satan to be in power. The thing about Satan, though, is he likes to collect souls sooner rather than later.

I wish there were some mechanism to force Li'l Donnie to pay for extra expenses out of his own pocket. Barring that, cut the rethug senators' pay checks by two thirds until the difference is made up. Can you imagine the outcry if the SC decided to garnish the rethug party's wages?!

A lot depends on the definition of protectee, the president etc is classified a protectee and his/her family is classified a protectees. The question is can each family member (protectee) claim permanent coverage?

I guess the cretin sons and jarvanka get this benefit.

It there a permanent detail at mar-a-lago or is it just his traveling protection team?

looking for new business opportunities to exploit with full SS protection. It's obscene to spend this kind of money while slashing budgets for basic safety net protections. If the Obama's had pulled anything remotely like this, the republicans would have been screaming. They couldn't even take vacations in Hawaii without the deplorables erupting in outrage.

They've reached an all time new low in this administration. They are literally doing everything they accused Obama of doing and getting away with it. Their hypocrisy and incompetence has never been more clear than it is now. They're going to burn this country to the ground and be proud of it. They can't say they love America when they really hate it and want it destroyed.

But not when cutting taxes for the wealthy and spending as much on the military as the rest of the world combined.

And even if we were taking care of all our citizens, his taxpayer-funded self-promotion is just grotesque.
