Senator Lindsey Graham knows Trump loves to be loved and he is giving Trump praises as he decorates it with belligerent warmongering actions that Trump must take to keep those praises. He even used Trump's language as he used 'F you' in his statement.

2. Trump's not going to war with Assad.

He needed Thursday's charade to make people think a) he's strong, b) he cares about Syrian citizens and c) he's not Putin's puppet.

So long as people take him for face value on all of that (and way too many did), no further bombings of empty Syrian airfields are necessary.

If he wants an actual war, he'll go somewhere else. Like North Korea.
