(10,908 posts)are up for election in 2018, meaning just to stay where we're at, we need to win 25/34 = 74% of the races.
To go from 48 to 51 seats, and thus control of the Senate, we need to win 28/34 = 82% of the races.
(The 25 Democratic seats up for election in 2018 include the 2 independents that caucus with the Democrats).

Organized by category; - shows its possible to win 28 of these: 19 strongly favored to win, 6 more slightly favored to win, 2 tossup races. That adds up to 27. Just one more needed to get the 28 wins.

I think Bannon and Co is toast.

(9,679 posts)touting what they are "doing for our state" and how it is important that we reelect them every 2 years (from Jim Banks and Susan Brooks). I haven't received one from the democratic party since 2008. Is it just the presidential election every four years that is important to the party? I hope Perez will adopt the Dean 50state strategy. It's easy to win House seats - just get everyone to vote!
