Question: what's the best way to take the heat off the Trump Campaign-Russia collusion theory?

...answer: make it look like Trump and Russia are at odds with each other...crackpot theory and anyone hideous enough to actually do it should be in a special hell, but what if Russia and Trump & company set up whole Syrian event to gaslight...

Take a horrible part of the world, make a relatively small atrocity (no I don't think the lives involved were small or incidental, but I wouldn't put that idea past Trump or Putin), have Trump respond 'presidentially', even though just days earlier, he said he was backing off of Syria, and his stance has always been 'America First'.

His poll numbers go up, focus is off of Trump-Russia relationship, also sends message to N Korea and China, who incidentally was visiting.

Ok, I know, this sounds like an alt-left version of a Breitbart headline but just sayin.

Not for me, but many will use the "rally 'round the President" talking point. Solly Mack Apr 2017 #3

and honestly I think it is obvious to many. They are a lot of tweets from Trumpers who are outraged and leaving the Trump train (Trumpers that have big followings on YouTube). They aren't falling for it, and apparently Alex Jones called it a false flag. So if the Trumpers are outraged, and we see through it too as a blatant diversion -- well, we will see how pathetic our media truly is if the Trump/Russia collusion story and FBI investigation just disappear. Tillerson was also magically scheduled to go to Russia next week -- that's no coincidence.

"nah, wag the dog is an oldie but according to the nazis it always works
“Naturally the common people don’t want war. But after all, it is the
leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it’s always a
simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy or a
fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of
the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are
being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and
for exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every
country.”
--- Hermann Goering, Hitler’s Reich Marshall, at the Nuremberg
Trials after World War II.
