(16,104 posts)was enough to get multiple parties to turn over Assad's chemical weapon's stockpile for destruction.
Since when is it the US foreign policy to punish a sovereign nation for bad behavior?
Is there really that much difference between a chemical weapon attack or dropping a big ass bomb on them? Or drowning at sea and washing up on shore?
This response to something seen on TV that has changed the administration's policy so completely and abruptly is incomprehensibly unsettling, inconsistent and seemingly whimsical - not to mention stunningly opportunistic in a bad way.

(58,724 posts)As to your question asking if there is "really that much difference between a chemical weapon attack or dropping a big ass bomb" the answer is yes, under international law.
The Chemical Weapons Convention outlaws the production, stockpiling, and use of chemical weapons.

(34,491 posts)It seems like what these people said when President Obama was in office applies to Trump 100%. It's also weird that most of what Trump was criticizing Obama for, he is doing the exact same thing but 20 times worse.
