They will already be calling DRUMPF “a War President” (as if that’s a compliment). THERE IS NOTHING DRUMPF CAN DO TO MAKE HIM A HERO.
DRUMPF says he was profoundly moved/changed/touched by the pictures of the chemical victims. I dismiss this on the grounds that nothing in his previous entire life has touched a human, humanitarian, truthful chord in him.
That said, this particular military action is in the category of a stopped clock is correct twice per day. It takes nothing unique about DRUMPF that distinguishes it.
The really astute, reliable commentators (not the “retired generals/ideologues”) are saying that this action was “a slap on the wrist” of ASSAD and “the minimal response” that could have been taken.
Regarding DRUMPF, he has NO moral authority, even when he is using a situation of morality/immorality as his rationale. It is a very CONVENIENT wag-the-dog way out of his disastrous personal situation occupying the presidency. Oh, God, he is asking for “God’s wisdom” and talking about “souls” – words he hasn’t lived by in his whole life.
And he’s reading stuff about “ending terrorism” in the whole world. AS IF terrorism, crime, murder, theft, and whatever other activities that are part of human nature and behavior can be “ENDED”!
Odd/funny: Hillary was quoted as news just a few hours before advocating for striking air fields in Syria – BINGO! His advisors were telling him, “Hillary says we should do this.” Haha.
So now, we’ll never hear the end of it from him: He’ll keep ragging and nagging that he did A VERY BIG THING, that he did what OBAMA didn’t do, and that all of his criminal mobster activities need to be forgotten about. It's a stopped clock.
