According to one of the more well-known analytics firms, Status People, 76 percent of Trump's followers are inactive (and, therefore, either bots, fakes or not influential.) Just 10 percent of Trump's Twitter followers about 4 million are "good" (real, active users). By comparison, former President Barack Obama has 86 million followers on his @BarackObama account, 72 percent are classified as fake, with 19 percent viewed as real.
This means that just a few million people are actually "listening" to Trump when he broadcasts on Twitter. (What amplifies his megaphone well beyond this small pool of followers, of course, is when hundreds of journalists use his tweets as the basis of news stories.) Nate Silver's 538 site analyzed the followers of Republican and Democratic presidential primary candidates during the campaign and concluded that Trump by far had the most number of fake followers on Twitter.
An analysis from Oxford University shortly before the 2016 presidential election in November found that Twitter bots sharing pro-Trump content outnumbered Clinton bots 7 to 1. The Oxford study also found that more than a third of all pro-Trump tweets during the debate season were fake and generated by bots.
Samuel Wooley, director of the Oxford center that released the study, said that 80 percent of pro-Trump tweets were essentially automated propaganda and not real. He believes it's one of the biggest political communication problems facing America. "The sheer scale of bot activity
perpetrated on behalf of the Trump campaign is completely unprecedented in American politics," Wooley said.

This is why I only send tweets to @POTUS and @White House. IMO, Media should NOT use tweets generated from trumps personal twitter account without clearly stating the tweets didn't come from an official government account.

p/s if you want to see where trumps 'followers' are today, usually at his MAGA twitter account, and his sons accounts. check the 'follower list' at the realdonaldtrump twitter account to find them all.

p/s just to let you know. when you actually 'follow' some accounts, your device will be full of tracking cookies looking for any connections you have to anything 'useful'. I tend to not login to twitter and just check the
