4. Except that's not the norm when Democrats are in power. Then they give Republicans more air time

When NPR needs a comment about a GOP issue, they give some Republican a few minutes of free airtime to spout pro-GOP propaganda.

When they need a comment about a Democratic issue, they give some Republican a few minutes of free airtime to spout anti-Democratic propaganda.

See? Fair and balanced.

I have gone from having NPR on all day pre-Clinton to now being down to an occasional quick listen.

8. I think it depends on the network

Here's a case in point:
NBC News is the regular over-the-airwaves network and they try to be as even-handed (moderate) as possible with coverage of both parties.
MSNBC is also owned by NBC but they're on pay-cable so their coverage is very liberal and pro-Democratic Party. (Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, etc.)
CNBC is also owned by NBC and they're on pay-cable, but their target audience is the Wall Street and financial crowd, so they're more conservative and pro-Republican.

I'm sure the other media outlets play both sides of the street just like NBC does. The only exception would be Fox News which is strictly conservative but they have one or 2 token liberal commenters on their mostly conservative news.

If you want to hear Democrats interviewed stick with the channels like MSNBC, which gives them a lot more coverage.

Just sayin'
