The drip, is a thunderstorm in June. A whole lot seems to be happening at once. Lots of corners, lots of straight track..but when/ or if.. will we see it all. And a whole lot of lies....one after another..what we need is this. More and more popcorn. Why? The show has just started.

(111,270 posts)This isn't our mess, it's theirs. Most of us aren't in a position to affect it one way or another, although a few of us might find their snark lifted for use in articles for people who do have a way to affect things.
I'm really enjoying the show. The sick feeling I had right after the election, compounded by the hack of DU, has gone. Now it's a tired sense of amusement as I speculate on just how long that boor is going to cling to the White House with it's too-small rooms and tatty antique furnishings.
I think he'll likely quit with or without pressure from investigators because he despises being told no, and that happens frequently in government. It has sunk in that this is one of the conditions he has to face in that job, so he's not shrieking about judges any more, he's shrieking about his main supporters in Congress and taking his frustration out on his staffers, something I think Ivanka was brought in to smooth over.
It's going to be a wild ride, folks. We desperately need an Independent Counsel to investigate this shit, but a deeply polarized Congress will never agree on one.

(9,670 posts)I think the gravity of the situation, vis-a-vis the espionage/racketeering aspect and the potential threat to the security of the USA ominously on the line, may force our Congressfolks to find the most expeditious way to oust this impostor from the White House.
