SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) Gilbert Baker, the man who created the iconic rainbow flag which became a symbol for LGBT rights, has died. He was 65.

(34,111 posts)I was lucky to meet him a bunch of years ago during an LGBT awards gathering in Wichita, Kansas. Gilbert was from Kansas. He was fun and kind. This makes me so very sad.
