Obama administration officials were so concerned about what would happen to key classified documents related to the Russia probe once President Trump took office that they created a list of document serial numbers to give to senior members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, a former Obama official told NBC News.

The official said that after the list of documents related to the probe into Russian interference in the U.S. election was created in early January, he hand-carried it to the committee members. The numbers themselves were not classified, said the official.

The purpose, said the official, was to make it “harder to bury” the information, "to share it with those on the Hill who could lawfully see the documents," and to make sure it could reside in an Intelligence committee safe, "not just at Langley [CIA hq]."

3. When facts offend conservatives there is always a conspiracy to explain why reality betrayed them.

Of course the list might also give the committee members a hint that the documents they are looking at a fabrication.

Nunes' mysterious intercepts, IMO, are suspect and maybe exactly that, fabrications or they are going to get "lost" next week.

The Trumpanistas are desperately hoping that these docs will somehow show that a Obama admin person was naughty, and that may well be.

Thing is, if a Obama admin staff member was a bad actor, that does not make the allegation against Trump's admin and campaign untrue and that does not exonerate Flynn, Trump etc. if they are dirty or broke the law.

Next thing will be to try to do exactly by making it part of yet another conspiracy against Trump.

4. THIS gives me hope.

That they took such exceptional measures suggests that the information isn't just stuffing, it's breast meat.

I'm still confused as to what is taking so long for the hammer to drop, but I tend to be impatient, i.e. What the unholy fuck do you mean the bread has to rise before you bake it!!!?

5. As usual, President Obama was thinking way ahead of everyone.

At first I wondered why he didn't scream, yell, and holler this information, but the more I think about it, the more I think that there's a better chance to do damage to the Republican Party, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, and of course Trump without Obama's overt involvement. I can only hope that this will come to pass.
