BREAKING: Senate Intel Committee refuses immunity for Flynn testimony

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/326694-senate-intel-panel-declines-flynn-immunity-offer-at-this-time

The Senate Intelligence Committee has turned down former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s request for immunity in exchange for his testimony in the panel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election — at least for now.

congressional inquiries are far too sloppy and have competing agendas to responsibly grant immunity without screwing up the investigation.

"at least for now".

I highly doubt that immunity would be granted before Flynn's story and who he implicates can be verified as being necessary in order to further the investigation.

Let Flynn tell his story to the FBI and committees. Let them investigate it, then if it warrants him needing immunity to testify, then ok.
