One risk with granting Flynn immunity

Everyone gets played.

Flynn has no fear of prosecution and punishment and doesn't deliver the goods. No significant new facts. No documents showing a link between people and corruption. Status quo preserved.

Meaning, he has to provide his information in advance and they'd have to accept it as being helpful and relevant before he gets covered by immunity.

You admit everything that you have ever done, illegal or not, and you eliminate any chance of ever being indicted, let alone, tried, convicted and setenced, for it. For instance, war crimes, losing classified documents, murder, child abuse, helping Snowden escape, 9/11, you name it.

Different groups and agencies have varied axes to grind and some might want a bigger piece of the action. There seems that there are many avenues of all kinds of groups are going full bore. It's starting to like just one big giant jigsaw puzzle laid out on the kitchen table

Can he say and do anything? Can he play all 3 extended editions of the Lord of the Rings, perjure himself and then do a little pop and lock break dance? With no stopping him and no possible penalty? Or are there limits?

and investigators will make the decision based off that. So Flynn will come in saying "I can give you Trump" or "I can give your Roger Stone" or "I can give you Manafort" etc...

If he's really worth immunity.

He's shopping for a deal and in my totally credible, lawyers of Law & Order training, that suggests his information isn't as valuable as he wants you to think. Add in the Dump's tweet and it feels a lot like a setup for a mostly nothingburger.

Flynn has to offer something of value to get an immunity deal. If he reneges or lies about what he has to offer - no deal.
