Blind men examining an elephant...

I have come to realize that political differences can create totally opposite realities. As Democrats were shocked to learn of the Russian influence in our election and the exposure of an "unregistered foreign agent" sitting in the White House as head of National Security, Republicans were more concerned about who leaked the information that people in the White House were working with the Russians? Their concerns were totally different from those of the Democrats.

Just as when the Republicans were shocked about Benghazi and Hillary's emails. They were sure there was some collusion to stifle the truth in their investigations. Democrats never took their charges that seriously. Republicans were certain Hillary was a lying criminal. They still think she should be in jail.

This is a political reality with which we must deal. What seems obvious to Democrats as a threat to our nation and criminal in nature is seen as mostly a trivial event by Republicans, a political game by the Democrats. No big deal.

We cannot understand it but our brains are like computers - you can only get out what you put in. We can never know the truth without facts.

When the water rises above our heads, we have no choice but to swim or drown.
