Mike Flynn. He will likely burn (Take Down, Tell, Rat, Run And Go Tell That) On ANYONE As Long As He Does Not Have To Do A Moment In Federal Prison.

I hope Dump takes Pence with him, honestly.

Best case, "tippy top" scenario - he takes ALL of his additions to the "Designator Survivor" list with his downfall AND there is another election (aka One Off Election Mulligan) for the replacement. Probably not possible, but I can dream.

He's obviously the best of the current top four, and the Constitution doesn't allow for a do over but we haven't thought about the Supremes. If they could literally appoint Bush the younger to the presidency, they could possibly decide to call for an early election for the remainder of Trump's term. It's extraordinarily improbable but still impossibly plausible if they decide it's needed to salvage the republic.

We are deep in uncharted waters, gang, and the sharks are circling.

Will Take Pence and Cheeto Down. He Has The Goods On Both of Them. That's Why He's Asking For Immunity.

The House intel committee is full of holes.

The Senate's investigation is narrowly focused on the past.

The FBI will be investigating until 2031.

Maybe the So. Dist. of New York? Who knows? But the avenues of justice are indeed narrowing and Trumpy, as always, is running one step ahead of personal catastrophe. I'm not hopeful. It appears that there's no one left to prosecute, no one left to mete out a sentence. If there are criminal convictions, there will be pardons galore. Just as during the campaign, money is KING. The billionaire class is alive, well, and living a totally different existence than the rest of us. They run the country. We don't.

Mike Flynn's offer to testify in exchange for immunity and the apparent lack of anyone willing to take him up on his offer raises more questions than it answers. In fact, I'm not sure it answers any questions at all. There are various relatively minor offenses Flynn could plausibly be prosecuted for - failure to file under FARA for his lobbying on behalf of the Turkish government, failure to file proper paperwork with the Pentagon for his paid speech in Russia, possibly untruthful answers to the FBI about his conversations with Russian Ambassador Kislyak. These charges in themselves would be thin gruel in terms of matters of any true public concern. But any competent lawyer would still insist on immunity before letting his client testify on anything related to these possible bad acts. Flynn's lawyer states rather grandly that his client "has a story to tell and ... very much wants to tell it." But Alex Whiting of Harvard Law School argues pretty convincingly that what we learned last night likely means either that Flynn doesn't have a story prosecutors are willing to barter for or isn't yet willing to tell it.

So who knows what the immunity request means? Far more interesting to me is how Flynn ties in to the latest revelation in the unfolding Nunes debacle.

Let's walk through this.

According to the report in the Times, Rep. Nunes' secret information was the work of two Trump White House staffers ................
