Schumer Rips Senate GOP Saying Every Single One of Them Blocked Obamas Nominee for a Year

Democratic Leader Senator Chuck Schumer called Republicans out on the Senate floor Thursday for pearl clutching about the nuclear option for their SCOTUS nominee.

Republicans are threatening that they will have no choice but the nuclear option if Democrats don’t vote for President Trump’s supreme court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch.

Schumer responded on the Senate floor Thursday, “And for all the hand-wringing by my friends on the other side of the aisle that they cannot imagine Democrats voting against Judge Gorsuch; I would like to remind them that only three — three — of the current senators on the Republican side voted for either of President Obama’s confirmed nominees.”

“Let me repeat that: only three of the current senators on the Republican side voted for either one of President Obama’s confirmed nominees. Most voted for neither.”

“And every single one of them lined up to conduct an ‘audacious’ partisan blockade of Merrick Garland,” the top Democrat reminded Republicans.

Sadly she is a Alex Jones, Breitbart devotee. These people really, really don't believe that the hacks occurred and as we keep finding more and more attacks on our election.

The most important thing is to keep our own unity. These dem senators need to be shamed. I'll be waiting for the regular, "they're in a tough spot" horseshit that gives cover for cowardice. If they can't run on their record of working for their constituents, they shouldn't be there anyway, since their constituents obviously prefer a puke in their place. This is not rocket science. It's just unity.

I hope to see him do the same as MAJORITY leader soon. Trump just might put him there, and sooner than expected unless the Republicans get wise and remove Trump themselves.

Still, they would have to get a lot more fed up with the damage he's doing to their brand than they are now, and I don't see that happening for at least another six weeks or so.....
