They tell you, at minimum, mailing address and when the voter last voted. Also, which party voter is registered as -- although many states no longer allow such information. The political parties and campaign staffs use such info to generate walking lists, mailings, etc.
That doesn't mean that Russia using them to put their thumb on the scales is not worrisome.

Most impressive quote for what I saw today was from him concerning the best way of understanding everything that has happened in this Russian controversy, "Follow the trail of dead Russians".
