there's no money in selling your password to marketers. To criminals and a fascist government, yes but man, let's hope it doesn't come to that.

If site PWs were for sale... there would soon be an underground market of selling profiles and/or blacklists to employers so they'd not even waste their time on some applicants.

Password trading and selling already exists within criminal elements and has existed since almost the beginning of the web. As I said, let's hope it doesn't come to that.

To our ISP accounts? Or to sites like DU which STILL hasn't implemented HTTPS... so all our login info is transmitted in the clear.
