How will the Republicans excuse Trump colluding with Russia to win the election?

Bill Maher had a guest on last night in his first segment. The guy finally admitted that it would be treason but it was like pulling teeth for Maher to get him to admit it.

I suspect they might try but I don't think "both sides do it" will work. Maybe they'll go with it was just oppo research.

You know they will come up with something. What will it be?

As soon as the evidence of the Russian collusions is released the first Repub's that condemn Trump will become revered. The ones that continue in the useless cover up will be exposed. Will this finally be the wake up call for the underserved Americans who have fallen for Trump's lies and Repub's deceptions?

I was trying to imply the folks who were getting healthcare under ACA, for example, and voted for Trump because he promised to repeal "Obamacare", and are only now realizing how screwed they would be under Ryan's plan to balance the budget by letting people die so they don't drain SS and medicare.

Perhaps a better description would be "schmucks who believed that pompous turd's lies". You may insert Trump or Ryan as the PT.

Thanks for the welcome.

For them everything is as it should be except Obama broke the law and spied on a political campaign.

That is how small minds work.

tRump's tax returns will be enlightening, too. Someone with good writing skills will need to work on the story so there are no gaps. I think all of us will appreciate a graphic that explains the ties between tRump and the others. They won't all buy it, but most will eventually come around.

Many will resist hearing the truth but if there are hearings (like in Watergate) they will eventually catch on. Watch his numbers drop more as the truth drips out. Sucks to be you, Donnie.....

Or something equally stupid that their drool voters are stupid enough to believe.

We can't let that stop us this time. These fuckers sold their fellow citizens to the whims of a foreign dictator, and the payoff was The Presidency. Nixon and Reagan and both Bushes taught them they won't go to prison for shit like this. It's time for the Republicans, their corporate paymasters AND ESPECIALLY their mouthbreathing Base to learn a much harder lesson.

TREASON, in exchange for the Oval. That's what I want written on Trump's headstone.

Seriously I think that will be their take.

Also, "We're glad somebody was able to get the 'dirt' on Hillary and if Trump had to get the Russians to do it, good."

I've already heard that one.
