Kansas School Board Candidate Wants to Ban Evolution From Schools

Not this SH** yet again...

A candidate for a position on the Kansas State Board of Education is seeking the complete removal of the Theory of Evolution from public schools.

Jack Wu, a native of California who moved to Topeka after joining the infamous Westboro Baptist Church, is running against 4th District incumbent Carolyn Wims-Campbell, who was elected in 2008.

"The current public educational system in Kansas and the United States is preparing its students to be liars, crooks, thieves, murderers, and perverts," said Wu in an entry on his campaign site.

"My mission, in running for the Kansas State Board of Education, is to throw out the crap that teachers are feeding their students and replace it with healthy good for the soul knowledge from the holy scriptures."

take it back. Few of us including me are willing to run for those offices on the local level that admistister the programs at home. When they "do not work" it is more often because local officials are not doing what is supposed to be done.

and that has reaped the benefits of being free from "liars, crooks, thieves, murderers, and perverts."

He sounds like my mom.

Mom: If we had prayer back in schools, this nation would be on the right track.

Me: You spent thousands of dollars to send your daughter's children to a private Christian school. They were both raised by Christian parents and grandparents and went to church every time the doors were open. Now both of them are drinking, partying, foul-mouthed young people who've lived repeatedly "out of wedlock", had sex outside of marriage and enjoy drugs.

Mom: {mumble, mumble}

Me: So how is putting prayer back into schools going to change things?

Mom: Let's talk about something else.

And then I'm amused because if there are then some of them have undoubtedly gotten big thick biographies of Lincoln, read them all the way through looking for vampire stuff, and gotten pissed off.

I live in Kansas, and Westboro is pretty much universally hated. All the opponent needs to do is run an ad that says, "These people picket the funerals of fallen soldiers. Do you really want one of them in office?"

He should not be anywhere near a school, let alone making decisions about education.

He probably thinks the world is flat.
