(82,849 posts)Every time he dabbles in specifics - like wiretapping and illegal immigrants voting - reality bites him on the ample rear end. He has to stay vague so that he can later say that what he said wasn't really what he meant. As if the quotation marks around his wire tapp allegation means that he wasn't talking about a wire tapp.
This kind of dishonesty works wonderfully when he's making a deal with people desperate to do a deal; it's far less effective with people who don't want anything to do with him.
