...one has to wonder about the long term health of folks like Flynn, Manafort, and Stone.

For now, Russia appears to be cutting the connecting threads but eventually, it'll involve principles.

I would still love to see more about the IT kid working at the DNC who got nailed outside his DC home in a coincidental random shooting weeks after telling his co-workers that he thought the Russians were hacking the DNC. I wonder if someday we'll learn that was the first domino that only makes sense in hindsight.

Seth Rich? We need to make certain this story doesn't go away without answers.

And how did the russians find out he said that? Was a coworker compromised?

As to how the russians found out, there's no data. My conjecture, we will learn that there was someone in the DNC on Stone's payroll. The story that Podesda responded to phishing scheme by coincidence doesn't hold water.

IIRC, he sent the email to some IT guy who replied something like "...it's ok to respond..." and now claims he meant to type "...it's NOT ok to respond..."

Sorry - you're telling me all this hinged on a coincidental typo ?

Not buying it. The sophistication of this thing will eventually show itself at virtually every, if not all levels of the plan.

Underestimate your enemy at your own peril...and we severely underestimated Russia on this one. We need to stop with the "Trump used Russia to win" memes...it's "Russia used Trump".

Kiev (CNN)US President Donald Trump's ex-campaign chair Paul Manafort is facing fresh allegations over his links to former pro-Russian Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

Ukrainian lawmaker Sergii Leshchenko claims a document found in a safe in Kiev may be evidence that Manafort tried to mask payments to him from Yanukovych's party.
