I never thought I'd have warm feelings for aarp, but the tv and radio ads against the scorched-earth anti-healthcare campaign is working.
Ultimately, wouldn't it be hilarious if the AARP has better functionality and morality than this current white house?
AARP should be running the country.

Of course, the Brownie Scouts have an advantage: They have adult leaders.

(7,813 posts)The Girl Scout oath:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
They don't know what "honor" means.
I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
Well, THAT won't do at all!

(68,675 posts)I have warm feelings for them...they have stopped the GOP from enacting 'entitlement reform' for years. I don't understand how people allow the GOP to divide us constantly...not just during the past election.

(65,170 posts)We have people here at work, late 50's, early 60's union guys, that had Hlllary for Prison bumper stickers!!! Huh? Now, they're concerned about health care and medicare being useful for when they retire in 4 to 7 years. Just stupid, selfish, "as long as it doesn't hurt me" thinking, and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

(26,060 posts)I wrote exactly what I meant. Degenerate donnie did VERY well with the the older voters. Try 53% for donnie vs 44% for Hillary.

(20,731 posts)This is going to continue for 4 more years? NO. We'll take the senate back in 2 and in the meantime, we'll have to keep after them.
