my sister had surgery. Was supposed to be 2 hours, ended up being 4 and then another 3 in recovery.

Was talking with my B-I-L in the family waiting room. We were talking about the russian traitor and this piece of shit guy about 65-70 years old walked up to me and started talking about Hillary and uranium. I told him he was ignorant and should read real news and stop watching faux.

My BIL told him to mind his own business and not get involved in other people's conversations. The POS told my BIL he shouldn't be talking in a public room if he didn't want others to interrupt the conversation. My BIL lost it and told him his wife -my sister- was having surgery to remove cancer and he needed to mind his own business. The piece of shit told us that he would be happy to settle the matter outside.

I told him he wouldn't be so glib when he lost his medical aide thanks to the russian traitor and that in all of my life I never thought I would see true Americans side with russians and walked out.

If my sister hadn't been in surgery I might have really let him have it but instead I walked out

results yet. The polyp was as big as a fist. I feel that she won't need chemo but we won't know for a few days.

Surgery was a success.

In my younger days the minute he brought up fighting I would have laid him out right there in the hospital. I was raised southern and was taught never threaten and respond to threats with instant violence. But I was a right winger then.

Now I would have laughed at him and told him I did not want to spend the night in jail and he did not want to spend the night in the hospital(as a patient)

On the whole you handled it better than I would have.

But of course, that pales to your sister's situation. She has my good vibes.

i have been having serious signs of pancreatitis. I get it at least once a year thanks to the Crohn's. I have been having horrible aweful pain in the evenings Every night I go to sleep thinking if it is as bad in the morning, I will call my doctor. Well I get up and it is some better so I wait it out and then in the evening here we are again...

29. I had Fourth Stage Hodgkins back in the 60s

They have made lots of progress in treatment since then, especially in some of the side-effects of treatment. Radiation is less likely to cause damage to other organs. There are better treatments for nausea. I know from friends that treatment is still a bitch. I still recommend that when able, you drink beer and laugh as much as you can. For sleep, I fix my friends a little linen lavender pillow. They are not hard to put together. Essential oils probably would work too. I send her good vibes for a full and long remission, like I've had.

I'm going to add that people like that should die a very slow and painful death. I send him appropriate vibes.
