...revealing that members of the Trump campaign (possibly the president) were, in fact, recorded talking to Russians who were, ostensively, under investigation.
No one concerned about Russian hacking is going to care how those people came to be included in an investigative document. All they're going to focus on is what the hell these people in the Trump campaign were doing conversing with Russians under investigation during the election.
Nunes is as dense as Trump. The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee likely broken the law with what he revealed, and he's openly interfered in an ongoing investigation by communicating his findings with a potential target or related target of that investigation.
Bizarre.

Saw that yesterday with Manafort's role in the Trump campaign being downplayed by Spicer, and the report today that he was on Putin's payroll.

(1,182 posts)that the same fools who authorized the government to spy on all of us now find it spying on them.
It is also so, so appropriate that the Republicans, in their haste to outsource all government jobs to private contractors, allowed the rubber-stamping of thousands upon thousands of security clearances to the likes of people like Edward Snowden. Who could have anticipated that all our secrets would start spilling out? Who knew?
Orwell/Huxley apparently never anticipated that the security state would immediately implement a strategy of outing itself.
Brilliant!

As our so-called "president" might tweet: Sad!
But I am wondering: Sad?
...it would be funny, if it wasn't so sad.
