Shots fired by Parliament: idea of Trump in office fills me with fear.UK Parliament/Big Ben Lockdown
This incident outside parliament looks very serious -- someone ran a car into a barrier and either stabbed or shot others in an attempt to either strike or terrify British gov -- Theresa May was VERY CLOSE and was rushed out of parliament and into a waiting car. Folks, the idea that the idiot, the Russian traitor is in POWER when an incident like this happens, that anyone would look to him for comfort, and that Putin has TOTAL CONTROL over these assholes terrifies me.
I was angry at Bush. But Trump terrifies me -- he is totally incompetent and he is beholden to Putin!! He didn't even comment on this incident when the cameras were on him. Hillary would have spoken at least a few words. Trump looked like a petulant dick, pouting as usual. Not one kind word for our best friend?! Trump said "something happened" in London. No other words of comfort or grace.
Update (CNN 11:45am EDT 3:45 GMT): DOZENS INJURED. The gov IS REFERRING TO THIS AS A TERRORIST INCIDENT. No suspect (or the person who was shot) have been identified yet. I have never heard British people so upset, even after the bombing on the Tube on 07/07/05. Witnesses are saying there were bodies "everywhere" on Westminster Bridge (it looks like there are bodies on the ground) -- the reporting is very sketchy so it is hard to figure out. I think someone crashed a car into people and then into the steel barriers that surround the gov buildings. A police officer was stabbed, and it is believed the person who stabbed the officer was shot by police. I have been in this area so many times that this is very sad and surreal to me.
I hate that the Orange Ass is sitting on his butt in the White House. Christiane Amanpour is on saying British security is way up. It has been one year since the Brussels attack.
