This stuff is coming into focus.

(7,809 posts)There are a few posters here who still rail against anyone who says anything good about Sanders. Yeah, I supported him. I caucused for him. Big fuckin' deal. I voted for Clinton in November even though her people treated Sanders supporters like shit in Nevada (nobody threw a fucking chair! and Boxer didn't need to be provocative).
It's time for everyone to get over it. Quit letting them divide us.
I still like Bernie and what he has to say. Hillary Clinton would have been the best president of the post WW II era. We all know both these things are true. Don't let the bastards win our minds.

(11,122 posts)And still won't admit that they have been had. Spoke to a guy tonight, big Bernie supporter - still believes the russian shit that he got during the primaries. Swears that Hillary is a corporate shill and murderer. How can we blame the dumb shits who believe trump if our side had so many who won't see it?

(205,552 posts)All of the Bernie supporters I know enthusiastically voted for Hillary. There wasn't much daylight about our two candidates compared to the vast dark abyss that is Trump.

(3,011 posts)I supported Bernie and then I enthusiastically supported Hillary. I have been offended (and continue to be offended) by the hostility toward Bernie and his supporters. If our party is going to grow, we can't be hostile to people who want to join the democratic party, particularly those who came straight over (from Bernie to Hillary).
I sympathize with being mad at that guy who still believes the propaganda, but don't group us together.
I admit, it's harder to understand a recently converted Trump supporter. You wonder what finally moved them.
Jakes Progress
(11,122 posts)It's those that want to pull Democratic votes away. I'm sorry you continue to be offended, but I think you are identifying with the wrong group. It's not people who supported Bernie and then saw that he was going to lose and then supported Hillary. It's the people who supported Bernie and bashed Hillary all the way up to the convention and then on into the general. Those are the people that offend me.
I too began by supporting Bernie's campaign and ideas. I stopped doing that when it became obvious that he was not going to win and that he had no intention of becoming a Democrat or letting go. There are a lot of small things that led to a trump presidency, but one of those was his self-aggrandizing need to ignore the principles he began by espousing and hold onto the grudge. He really liked being liked.

(21,088 posts)automatically implies rooting for the other to lose. This was explained clearly during the intel hearing yesterday.
Whether you frame it from the point of view of Sanders or Clinton makes no difference. The two sides were in opposition, and the goal of the brainwashing was to increase the animosity between them.

(21,578 posts)it would be great if each IP you post from on the internet listed a "country of origin" with your tweet of facebook post. that's all. don't need to compromise anyone's identity. But at least when a see America4Ever with the flag and eagle avatar on tweet talking about "making america great again" and it says the tweet originated in Kazakhstan, I'll know its another bot or troll.
problem is with the support of Russian intelligence, i'm sure all those IP address can be fakes to look like they are American. But its just a thought of somewhere to start.
As it is now I just ignore all those accounts on twitter because i know most of them are Russian paid trolls just there to work for drumpf.
