I would swear that i read about this server during the campaign, not while the election was going on. but i can't source the information.

at any rate, speaking of the hack of DU (which left me bereft alone in Philly in a hotel room while the sky was falling - i was frantic and distraught and all alone!): has anyone been identified, arrested, prosecuted?

i would bet that the FISA warrant has been around for quite awhile.

I wish someone had some time to research some of the Russian trolls and automated bots on social media. If you find an usual combination of words, you can often trace an individual to numerous account names across various platforms.

Some Breitbart associates seem to keep a stable of facebook profiles that they bring out on special occasions.

The Ruskies also use some automated bots to post comments in many online conversations when a controversy arises.

35. Classic case: Man with "Republicans Against Trump" sign beaten at Trump rally, Trump incited fight
Mon Mar 20, 2017, 02:54 PM
Mar 2017

Trump incites a beating, watches it silently, aides rush him off stage, story becomes assassination attempt, victim held away from press in a bathroom for hours. Meanwhile, the bot army was so active on Twitter it was near impossible to get to the real story until the media had moved on to the next clever distraction.

Man with "Republicans Against Trump" sign beaten at Trump rally, Trump incited fight

This screen capture illustrates how the fake people have half faces, weird names, and are all tweeted by a computer--they all forget to attach the same link (image below). Their purpose was to push the hashtag #Reno to the top and to move a specific news story to the top. As you can see, it matters not if they are evidently fake, the Twitter algorithm doesn't know the difference. It was amazing how many came out to obfuscate the story of trump causing the beating. His being rushed off the stage was even alikely staged action to divert attention from what was really the story, the guy getting beaten, kicked, and his nuts grabbed while on the floor as Trump watched in silence after saying, "Get him out of here.".

Trump's inner circle even started the assassination fake news. It was a well-coordinated action that happened very quickly, illustrating how much narrative control they had by interjecting lies and bullshit to keep us from the truth..

From today's hearing:

SCHIFF: Mr. Trump also asserted in the tweet that the application was turned down by a court. Was there any request made by the FBI or the Justice Department to wiretap Donald Trump turned down by a court?

COMEY: That is one of the subjects that I can’t comment on one way or another, and please don't interpret that, but I cannot respond to anything that relates to the FISA process in an open setting.

Haven't seen the Guardian or BBC corroborate her claims of a FISA warrant.

Keeping in mind, if there WAS a FISA warrant, then Trump would be correct in his claims that the Obama administration tapped Trump Tower.

47. They can't officially confirm a FISA warrant in an ongoing investigation
Mon Mar 20, 2017, 03:31 PM
Mar 2017

So, they haven't. But it has been leaked. The BBC has confirmed that.

Here's the Beeb:

Trump 'compromising' claims: How and why did we get here?

Last April, the CIA director was shown intelligence that worried him. It was - allegedly - a tape recording of a conversation about money from the Kremlin going into the US presidential campaign.

It was passed to the US by an intelligence agency of one of the Baltic States. The CIA cannot act domestically against American citizens so a joint counter-intelligence taskforce was created.

The taskforce included six agencies or departments of government. Dealing with the domestic, US, side of the inquiry, were the FBI, the Department of the Treasury, and the Department of Justice. For the foreign and intelligence aspects of the investigation, there were another three agencies: the CIA, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the National Security Agency, responsible for electronic spying.

Lawyers from the National Security Division in the Department of Justice then drew up an application. They took it to the secret US court that deals with intelligence, the Fisa court, named after the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. They wanted permission to intercept the electronic records from two Russian banks.

Their first application, in June, was rejected outright by the judge. They returned with a more narrowly drawn order in July and were rejected again. Finally, before a new judge, the order was granted, on 15 October, three weeks before election day.

And from the Guardian:

Why James Clapper's Trump comments may not conflict with reports of secret court order

The News Corp-owned Heat Street news site and later the BBC published reports in November and January respectively that a secret surveillance order had been issued by a special court allowing the justice department to investigate two Russian banks suspected of being part of the Kremlin’s efforts to hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign and aid Trump’s.

The BBC said the justice department request had originally been based on a tip-off from an intelligence agency in one of the Baltic states, saying that the banks were being used to channel Kremlin money into the US presidential campaign.

Both reports said the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (Fisa) court gave permission in mid-October for monitoring of the activities of the two banks that also covered Trump associates.

Louise reported it on Nov. 7, 2016. The BBC followed on Jan. 27, 2017.
