I plan to ask who in their family fought for the Confederacy. I can say that I could take them to GA to the grave of my great-great grandfather with the CSA marker. I am not sure they would all know what that means due to their general level of ignorance. I would say that as an actual descendant of a Confederate soldier that I would never own of display that flag. It is the flag of a failed and wrong country and I live in this one. I do not blame him for whatever he did. He did not own slaves, he was probably not well educated and did not completely understand. Or maybe he did, there is no way to know.

I am a life long southerner, but I am an American and not proud of my confederate heritage.
