Many believe (and many hope) that President Trump will not complete his first term and will be impeached at some point during his tenure. And odds on his impeachment have maintained great popularity with bettors these past months.
Irish gambling operator Paddy Power should be mentioned as the bookmaker to have dedicated the most attention to President Trump, his policies, his family, and other aspects of his presidency and life in a special Donald Trump odds section.
The operator is currently offering several betting options related to the top officials possible impeachment. Paddy Power has priced 2017 as the most likely year for President Trumps impeachment. Odds are at 3/1 that the US House of Representatives passes an impeachment vote by the end of the year.
Ladbrokes, another gambling powerhouse with a Donald Trump Specials section, has too been offering odds on the officials year of impeachment; 2017 is priced at 7/2 as the likely year for him leaving his post after an impeachment vote.

(1,685 posts)Paddy Power must offer these bets for advertising. No chance impeachment happens this year. Now that I think about it, that works for them well. I'd want 40 to 1 odds on that wager if I was to do it.

(24,259 posts)He'd have to have enough of those suckers who voted for him the first time to give him a 4 yr term to vote for him for a second term of 4 yrs and I'm seeing/hearing a lot of those people already regretting their choice. This mean spirited budget of his, his 'from the swamp' cabinet choices, immigration/Muslim bans, bashing the media, obvious lies, crazy Tweets, etc are wearing his support down and the anti-Trump crowd are pissed off and gaining momentum.
Also people 'assume' he will want to run again for 4 more years, the way he's going I have serious doubts about it. I suspect this was an ego stroking/money making thing for him and when he doesn't get enough, especially of the former, he'll decide that his greatness is to unappreciated and 'take his marbles and go home'.
There will be the 'core of stupid and bigoted' die hard supporters of course but if the Dems put up even a semi decent candidate and hit at all the craziness Trump is (and frighteningly) will continue to do I think they'll bring back some of the more moderate and 'anyone but Hillary's voters and he'll be gone after the next election... if not before.
