I was sending my kid to school with an extra sandwich for their friend because one of her friends was hungry and their parents did not sign them up for reduced/free lunch. The teacher told the Principal and she took care of it without bothering the parents.

The Principal will help kids whose lunch card balance falls behind. They get a grilled cheese and side.

I'm red faced right now and livid.
