Trump merch contractor paying people to show up at his Nashville rally!

http://www.nashvillescene.com/news/pith-in-the-wind/article/20854915/are-you-hot-enough-to-hawk-merch-at-the-trump-rally

"If you're attending President Donald Trump's campaign rally at Municipal Auditorium tomorrow, keep an eye out for pretty people. They might be getting paid to be there.

No, really. This isn't a George Soros paid-protesters conspiracy theory. Earlier today, Pith started getting tips about an agency hiring people to go to the rally. Sounded weird to us! So we looked into it and, sure enough, The Push Agency, an international "event staffing and premium talent placement company," is offering people $18 an hour to work the event.

You might remember that Trump got caught paying actors to be excited at his presidential campaign announcement almost two years ago. This isn't that, but it does feel kind of like a boat show.

We called Push and talked to a friendly guy named Keith, who explained what the company does. They typically staff events like trade shows, product demonstrations, liquor promotions and the like. At some past Trump rallies, Keith says, Push has been contracted to hire "brand ambassadors" to promote Trump campaign merchandise. They're not contacted directly by the Trump campaign, he says, but by the company producing and selling the merchandise.

If you want to work with Push, it's fairly simple. Just give them some personal information, tell them a little bit about yourself and submit "one head shot, one mid body shot and one full body shot."

A separate question is how many people will be around to even buy that merch. The Trump team is apparently working the phones to get people to attend the event. "
