they saw that we were too far gone to be helped. You say no?...Well I say yes, because there are millions of stars with planets like ours, and if they just progressed just 500 years ahead of us, then they figured how to go warp 10..(like in Star Trek) and they have visited us. Now..like the sci fi movies, they were able to change their appearance to look and talk like us..so we did not know they were who they were.....Now...There is a 1951 movie that describes all of this....."The Day the Earth Stood Still"

.so they must have arrived and took a look and left...Have a good day..oh..they were the good guys, not like in Independence Day.....thank you....
