Government-run, government-mandated health care has actually gone a muck! Spicer shot back.
Whats wrong with government-run health care? Acosta interrupted. Medicare is government-run health care. I dont see citizens screaming that they want you to get rid of their Medicare.
Maybe get outside and talk to some of them, Spicer said. More and more Medicaid recipients in fact, more and more Medicare recipients arent actually able to get coverage.
The presidents goal is to provide health care coverage to every American, he continued. And right now, theyre not getting that To make this look like a choice, there isnt really a choice. The system that we have now is failing. The choices is whether we give them an opportunity to have real care.

OP
This may be the tipping point if they try to over-reach by including Medicare in the discussion.

Anyway, Medicaid/Medicare won't help when the planet overheats. (sarcasm)

Democratic leadership needs to jump on it right now the pukes are alienating an every broader sector of the public's self-interests. Sadly we lack gifted, respected leaders that can articulate the issues so it can penetrate the fog of the willfully ignorant that created this catastrophe. Schumer and Pelosi do not inspire any confidence by the public, they lack the charisma to coalesce public opinion. We are desperate for dynamic, intelligent new Democratic leaders.
