Gallup Poll: Confidence in television news falls to 21%, congress at 13% and other findings.

Note: The survey talks about public schools, but it you scan down in the article you'll find a number of charts talking about many things.

And at the bottom is congress, only a 13% great deal of confidence in congress.

absolute authority and the pinnacle of absolute truth. It's frightening how some cling to the worst citing it as an authority.

Congress, big business, TV news, criminal justice system, the police, the church or organized religion, banks, HMOs, newspapers all rate a no confidence at all. None really rate a highly favorable except unions.
