Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) slammed House Republicans' healthcare proposal on Saturday, predicting that President Trump "will step in and fix it."
Palin started off her interview with Breitbart News dubbing the bill "RINO-care" RINO standing for "Republican in name only" and saying it still had aspects of "socialism" about it.
"Remember this is government-controlled healthcare, the system that requires enrollment in an unaffordable, unsustainable, unwanted, unconstitutional continuation of government-run medicine, and even in this new quasi-reformed proposal, there is still an aspect of socialism," said Palin, a Trump ally. "Thats the whole premise here."
While the plan removes ObamaCare's individual mandate that fines those who go without insurance, Palin specifically criticized the GOP proposal for allowing insurers to charge a 30 percent penalty if there are gaps in someone's coverage.
This 30 percent additional fee will be collected by some in the private sector, which will mean politicians are allowed again to pick the winners and losers, and it makes you wonder whos lobbying hardest for aspects of this new bill, because obviously there are special interests involved," Palin said.

No way palin used this sentence. Too many multi-syllable words for her to comprehend, let alone use coherently.

(7,432 posts)Oh... she didn't endorse the Russia plan?
Did she suggest any other alternative besides the ACA or the GOP DeathCare Plan?
This post's Palin quotes show that Palin has no internal consistency. She obsesses with railing against anything that looks like socialism, but seems quite happy with Alaska's socialism-- notably in the form of oil revenue kickbacks to Alaska citizens. She appears to trust the private health insurance industry, but doesn't comprehend the fact that all insurance exists on what is primarily a socialistic plan to spread risk so that everyone within a policy structure is covered.
But why bother with any analysis of Putin's-- whoops!-- Palin's thoughts, beliefs, or values. The media will carry her message as if it came from God.

(5,914 posts)"Socialism" is strictly a buzzword for them, something associated with those evil libruls who want to take all their guns and jerbs. None of them would actually recognize the concept if you were to explain it to them.
