Imagine Hillary Clinton in the White House and

a majority of Democrats in the Senate. That's looking pretty good right now, isn't it? I thought it looked pretty good last year, too.

I imagine that a lot. I imagined that as the November election approached last year. Sadly, too few Democrats showed up at the polls, so that situation remains an imaginary one.

Will we learn from what happened? We'd better.

GOTV, folks! GOTV!

I am confident that a great many allegedly remorseful Trump voters will get over their sorrow long enough to vote Red again, and all of the non-regretful voters will cast their ballots all the more enthusiastically.

Will we rise to meet that need? That, to me, is the real question.

We need to start right now - today. We need to build the Democratic Party back up into a vibrant functional voice for the people. That's hard work. If we wait, there won't be time to do that.
