I would like to see peer reviewed research on what percentage of Americans have authoritarian tendencies. These tendencies need to be sussed out as most folks don't volunteer to admit they have authoritarian tendencies, any more than they admit to having racist, xenophobic, homophobic, nativist, misogynist, anti-semitic, and Islamophobic tendencies, et cetera.
