(5,815 posts)But you can tell that having them keep returning to the Flynn problem is irritating him. Prepare yourself to continue to be irritated, Spicer. The bottom line is that yes, it was Flynn's responsibility to get legal counsel and to register as a foreign agent. But it was incombent on the tRump administration to follow up and ask for the proof he did that....if they are going to follow their own requirement of "extreme vetting."
This is not a minor quibble. If I am a nurse applying for a position or a Hair dresser, at some point I might need to present documents too prove I have the qualifications I say I do. Flynn was applying for a position that required a high security clearance. Wasn't it the job of the tRump administration to make sure all the boxes were checked for Flynn? More evidence of chaos and incompetence.
