Trump Effect - 40% Drop in Illegal Immigrants* from Mexico

US hails '40% drop' in illegal immigrants from Mexico

The number of illegal immigrants crossing into the US from Mexico went down by 40% from January to February, according to the US government.

Homeland Security chief John Kelly said the "change in trends" was a result of Donald Trump's tough policies.
The president has signed an executive order for an "impassable physical barrier" on the US-Mexico border and issued new guidance on deportations.

The measures have been condemned by Mexico as "hostile" and "unacceptable".

Pew Research has reported that between 2009-2014 more Mexican immigrants are left the United States than came to the United States. They claim that a net of 140,000 Mexican immigrants left the country during those years.

Folks working on border issues repeatedly report this. What we do know, is thousands die trying to cross. Many because border control and vigilantes destroy water supplies and purposefully chase and 'dust' refugees forcing then to scatter and get lost. A body in the desert will not last long and still many, many bodies are found. This is what our government does by policy and action.

Another falsehood by he who shall not be named.
