If you thought cross check was bad and cost the 2016 election, future elections

will be the most corrupt in a century.

We know what happened with cross check. We know what happened with closed polling places.

We know there is NO way 70,000 mostly black voters in Detroit stand in line in the freezing cold ALL DAY LONG just so they can vote down ticket and leave the prez spot blank. (twice the normal number allegedly did this in FL also, BULLSHIT)

http://www.politicususa.com/2016/11/30/jill-stein-recount-promise-filing-recount-michigan.html

And how many millions of voters were disallowed their franchise due to cross check?

How in the hell does anybody expect to have an honest election anywhere when one side is dedicated to stealing the election at all costs?

Oh, and the elections commission is gone! http://www.npr.org/2017/02/08/514161156/as-trump-warns-against-fraud-gop-votes-to-eliminate-election-commission

No republican can even pretend to say they want honest elections and everybody voting. This is no longer a democracy.

Without closing the polling places, without cross check, none of this insanity is happening.

Not to mention the obvious hacking of machines or something like that per the Detroit situation.

Obviously tens of thousands of black votes were not counted

11. Those figures in the OP are a total fabrication

State wide, Michigan had 87,000 under votes (compared to 49,000 in 2012)

Keep in mind that write in votes are not counted unless the candidate specifically registers as a write in. Bernie Sanders did not, and all of those who wrote him in had their votes not counted as having voted for president.

As far as Detroit goes, there were only 1411 votes (out of nearly 249, 000) that did not indicate a vote for president. This 70K figure mentioned is a total fabrication.

In fact Detroit had only 0.56% under votes compared to 1.73% state wide.

I have attached the official results from Detroit if you don't believe me.

There were 248,780 ballots cast

Of those

Trump 7682
Clinton 234,871
Johnson 1533
Castle 342
Stein 1735
Soltysik 186
Write In 1020 (note this does NOT include Bernie as I indicated above)

Total = 247,369

Number of undervotes
248,780 (total ballots cast) - 247,369 (votes recorded for president ) = 1411 voters did not vote for president

13. I live in a red county in Florida.

I haven't noticed republican officials here trying tricks with registration. They follow state laws, but people can register to vote at the DMV offices and libraries. We had a contest between a progressive for School Board and two rightwingers last August during the Florida Primary, the Progressive absolutely hammered the completion by a large margin and now serves on the School Board. I have watched School Board meetings, they tend to be progressive in nature, lots of futuristic proposals, no religious dogma. Maybe I live in a red-purple county, but the fact is the people here are not nuts. The Democratic committee in my county has a nice office and it's meetings are well attended recently.

If our side continue to use republican obstruction as an excuse for not voting, we will continue to fall backward. We need to focus on defeating republicans at their own game, win and then change laws to be fair to everyone.
