Remember when Republicans sneered at...."It takes a village"....?

That was an actual months-long debate in this country and the Republicans' resounding "no, it doesn't " has been their guiding theme ever since.

Republicans may love their (mostly white) neighborhoods, but they really do dislike the villages. Too much upkeep. Too many teachers to pay, too many rivers to keep clean, too many children in homeless shelters. Not to mention the number of people without Health Savings Accounts walking around with TracFones.
