Democrats, Sanders Blast Trump on Claims Against Obama

Democrats in the United States Senate came out strong today after Donald Trump's weekend Twitter meltdown in which he accused President Barack Obama of personally ordering wire-tapping against him last year. Trump's charges were made all the more ridiculous, given that the U.S. president does not have the authority to make such a unilateral request.

"The White House has offered no clear evidence or facts to support this claim," said Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) in a statement. "The President should stop these absurd attempts to distract from the real oversight needed on Russian interference."

I know the action they can actually take is very limited, but we really need someone willing to torch their careers in order to fight this regime.
